I've never really cared for Dylan (sorry, that voice does nothing for me), but swap in Herbie Nichols, Horace Silver, some classical, or Cocteau Twins, and it's spot-on!
All: Thanks for the comments! Regarding coffee, acid, Bob Dylan, and Milton Glaser- I'm a coffee and Dylan addict, though I've been a Dylan addict longer, and I think his stuff is more potent. This is one of the few times I've tried Glaser, though I hope to see the documentary soon. And I only do acid in the imaginary form - drawing comics.
Yes, I always want to draw the music! I'm a fan of the minimalism in this post (and I especially love the traffic lights) but the parallel parking scene is the one that made me chuckle :)
Is 'coffee' a metaphor for acid?
ReplyDeleteI need to know where you get your coffee if it's that trippy.

ReplyDeleteI have a sick love for Mr. Dylan, I think, and for your Milton Glaser reference. That documentary about him is crazy good.
